Adam & Betsy’s wedding | La Crosse, WI wedding photographer

Saturday was Adam & Betsy’s wedding in Sparta, WI and reception in Tomah, WI. April Bodenburg second shot with me again and will be posting her pictures soon on her blog. Stay tuned! Update: April posted her pics here, enjoy!

The ceremony was at St John’s Evangelical Lutheran church in Sparta.

I was allowed to go into a little room next to the alter to shoot. It was so nice to be able to capture their faces during the large chunk of the ceremony where they had their back to the congregation.

After the ceremony, we went to Adam’s aunt’s house, which had a pond and a bridge and some lovely landscaping. I did not prompt those groomsmen to high-five. That was all on their own. Maybe this picture borders on cheesy, but it makes me laugh. 🙂

Had to take this shot again!

I think they had the best bar stop in the history of wedding bar stops. Really, how could you not have fun when you stop at a bar with a mechanical bull?

Then the reception at the Cranberry Lodge in Tomah. I love how much they laugh around each other.

We stepped outside for some pictures before the dance. I love this time of night.

Again, no prompting, they’re just that cute.

I love the twinkle lights at the Cranberry Lodge. I wish every reception hall had twinkle lights hanging from the ceiling.

In case you didn’t notice in the wedding party picture, one of the “couples” in Adam and Betsy’s wedding party are really a couple – Jared and Sara. I did their engagement session in May and their wedding is coming up in October. I can’t wait! 🙂

Adam and Betsy, thank you for a super fun day! Everything was so pretty and you two are just too cute. Best wishes!
