Tim & Claire’s Waterfront wedding

It was a good day. The End.

Just kidding. Tim and Claire and I were joking about what to write for each wedding I shoot. I haven’t been writing too much this year because (lucky me), I feel like all of my weddings are gorgeous/beautiful/lovely and all of my couples and their families are so nice/in love/special. How can I write that for each wedding and sound sincere? But, here it goes again, Tim and Claire and their families were so, so amazing. It has been such a joy to work with them for the past year. Leading up to their wedding they asked me wonderful, thoughtful questions to help the day go easier, and then on Saturday they kept saying, “Whatever Tiffany thinks!” It wasn’t always dealing with the photography either! Ha! They just trusted me and my experience, and let me do my job. It was a good day! 🙂

Thank you to Brittany Lotzer for second shooting with me!

I thought the little flower girl peeking her head in the picture was just adorable. 🙂

Tim and Claire exchanged notes and presents, one of the many, many sweet moments that happened during this wedding.

Despite Claire’s protests, Tim got top hats, white gloves, and canes for his groomsmen. I thought it was a cute touch for a few pictures, until Tim’s brothers started whacking each other with the canes! Ha.

Claire’s mom surprised them with a cheese cake. It was a cake made out of cheese rolls…how perfect!

Special moment #321 of the day with Claire and her dad before their first dance.

  1. I really liked the one with Claire kissing Tim – great shot. PS, I am coming to visit for a glass of wine – white please.

  2. Beautiful bride, handsome groom, gorgeous bridal party, Bill and Lori looking dapper and elegant, exquisite bouquets and flowers, church so finely decorated, perfect waterfront reception for a family who calls Hawaii their second home (hey, if you can’t be on the Pacific, a lakeside reception is just as great). Wish we could have been there to celebrate with you, Claire and Tim. Please know you were in our thoughts and prayers on your special day as we sent aloha across the miles from your beloved Hawaiian Islands. We will be praying for you as you love and serve each other and love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for sharing these creative, artistic photos by Tiffany. Favorites: Bill, Claire and Lori in the black/white photo with Mom and Dad so happy and proud of their beautiful daughter; the groomsmen in their top hats (nice touch, Tim), the bridesmaids in their designer gowns (is that color eggplant, so stunning and sophisticated); all the shots with the different dance moves (hope there was a hula in there!); the final photo with the dramatic, kneeling kiss next to the spraying fountain – beautiful! We feel we are there with all of your family and friends, praising God for bringing together two exemplary young people to live lives in union for His glory.

Lots of aloha from Honolulu, we love you, Randy and Gay

  3. WOW. . . my husband, Michael and I were ‘blown away’ by Tiffany’s beautiful and artistic style which made for keepsake photos! I love your candids and how you use light. Thank you so much for sharing them as the Buchta family means so much to us, and your gorgeous photos made us feel like we were at this special event!!

Claire and Tim. . . what a BEAUTIFUL bride & groom. . . .your wedding day looked like so much fun!! I love all your photos together, esp. the one by the water fountain as we peek at you through the water. The photos of Claire with her dad, Bill made me tear up. Maggie and Lori. . . you both look wonderful and so happy. And what a ‘Hoot’ with the “cheesecake” that you surprised them with Lori!! We love you and miss you all!!

  4. You have helped to keep fresh one of the most beautiful days of our lives which we can now enjoy for decades to come. It really was as gorgeous as you made it appear, and that takes real talent. I couldn’t be more proud of our daughter and new son-in-law, and you have gracefully portrayed the special relationship that they have with each other and the love that we have for them. Truly a work of art. We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures!

  5. Tiffany….you were so wonderful to work with. You captured the essence of the day. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception and we will have your phenomenal photos to remind us of all of the special moments. Thank you so so much. Lori
