Jo’s senior session

Last night, I finally got to take pictures for my favorite senior, Jo. Jo helped take care of Max this summer (she’s very good at blowing bubbles and ignoring cries for Momma).

We started off with some nice headshots. I can never decide who Jo looks more like – her mom or her dad. I used to always think her dad, but I can really see her mom in these pictures.

One of the first things I learned about Jo is that she likes snakes, lizards, and really most animals, but especially those snakes and lizards. We had to include her pets in her senior pictures. It was perfect timing for these pictures too because Jo just won the regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium competition for an experiment she worked on for two years that involved incubation of snakes. She gets an expense-paid trip to Colorado Springs next year to compete in the nationals! I’m so happy for her. She is such a smart, talented lady. How many teenagers do you know that would have the dedication to work on an experiment for two years?

This guy really freaked me out!

Jo, good luck with your senior year!
