Remember the amazing and wonderful Stephanie Neprud who second shot with me last year? She is about to have a baby any day (watch for that newborn session soon! I can’t wait). Saturday, she asked me to photograph her last wedding that she had booked for the year. Asking another photographer to shoot for you has to be the absolute hardest thing to do. I know that I care so much about all of my couples, it would be like missing out on a friend’s wedding. At 37 weeks pregnant, I think it was the right one though. I’m so happy I had a weekend off that I could help Steph out. I was pregnant last wedding season, and she was so much help to me all summer long. I know had I needed her to, she would have stepped in and shot a whole wedding for me too.
Steph’s husband, Phil, second shot with me, and he was SO great. Steph is a lucky lady to have him along at each wedding. Bryan and JoLynn had a lovely day for their outside ceremony and reception at the party barn in Viroqua. Can you believe I’m originally from Viroqua and I have never even shot a wedding there before? Bryan and JoLynn were so great about having me there instead. They had a beautiful day!
