I started out at the Best Western capturing the girls getting ready.\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nAshley had a couple vintage purses that were so cute!\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nThen we headed over to the church. Kory is a high school band director and music was a huge part of their wedding.\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nKory and Ashley saw each other before the ceremony. This first picture was taken by Dawn Silva<\/a>, my second shooter.\r\n\"Not<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nWe had lots of time for formal pictures before the ceremony and then some pictures of just Kory and Ashley around the church.\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nTheir minister had the nicest homily. I love when the ceremony is so personal.\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nKory and Ashley drove off in Kory's antique Chevy. Dawn captured these two shots.\r\n\"Not<\/a>\r\n\"Not<\/a>\r\n\r\nWe stopped at Vets Park in West Salem for some more fun, car shots and some wedding party pictures. For whatever reason, the road going into Vets Park was as busy as I-90. Seriously, I've never been so annoyed with cars before. We did get tons of really nice pictures though. We just had to keep waiting for cars (and then more cars).\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nThe girls had parasols, which were so cute!\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nI had to use one for Kory and Ashley's pictures too.\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nThen on to the reception. They had a classical guitarist playing music during the cocktail the hour.\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nThis photo was taken by Dawn and I love it because it really sums up how sweet Kory was to Ashley all day.\r\n\"Not<\/a>\r\n\r\nWe stepped outside for some sunset pictures on the Black river. I have to post this shot because afterward I starting squealing with delight. This was a complicated shot using a tiny pole for shade. I told Kory and Ashley they would understand after they saw it. So, hear is why I squealed. \ud83d\ude42\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nDawn comes in handy for shade too. She blocked the sun for this shot creating some beautiful light. \ud83d\ude42\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nBack to the reception and the dance. Two words: Live Music!\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nTheir dancing shoes\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\nKory and Ashley, I'm so happy that you found me at Wedding World! All of our connections were fun, but really just getting to know you two better was a joy. I hope New Orleans was fantastic. I wish you the best!","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
