It was very long-awaited (by me) because it was my first wedding of the season! The ceremony took place at Holy Trinity in La Crosse, WI. I live just a few blocks from this church and have actually taken pictures of Max outside. I was excited to get inside, and I wasn't dissapointed. It is filled with lots of nooks and crannies -- perfect for awesome detail shots.\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nDawn wasn't able to help me with this wedding so I totally worked up a sweat getting this shot (carrying Amy's dress up a flight of steps! - and, of course, didn't let it get dirty or let it touch the ground). It was worth it, I think.\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nIf you remember Garret and Amy's engagement pictures, their dog, Jackson, is very important to them. We actually drove all the way to Amy's parents house after the ceremony just to get a few pictures with Jackson. He was pretty happy!\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nThen down to Riverside park for some fun, wedding party pictures. The rain held off!\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nHow cute are these bridesmaids?\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nI found something in bloom!\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nThis picture of the first dance was an accident. They shut the lights off immediately after I took it. It is much more dramatic with the lights on, I think.\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nAmy and her dad definitely have a special bond. Their father-daughter dance totally made me tear up (as usual).\n\"\"<\/a>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nThe mother-son dance always makes me tear up too when I start thinking about Max some day. \ud83d\ude42\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nReally, how cute are these bridesmaids?\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nAmy and Garret, I'm really honored to have been part of your day. You guys are so much fun, and just so genuinely nice. I wish you the very best (and Jackson too!).","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
